In the spotlight

The doors of NOBISKRUG shipyard have been opened for the first time to the media, on the occasion of the keel laying ceremony of the 77-metre Project BLACK SHARK. This will be the very first publicized superyacht project from keel laying to delivery, which will offer a clearer understanding of the industry and of how the exclusive superyachts are coming to life.

Indeed...

True to NOBISKRUG’s reputation for being a shipyard that innovates from the front and strives to push boundaries in both naval architecture and design, the 77-metre superyacht promises to be a real head-turner once delivered.

The renowned British studio Winch Design penned a striking exterior, which is paired with a sleek contemporary interior by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design.

Keel laying

Following a successful keel laying ceremony on 20 February 2019, we are pleased to announce that 77-metre M/Y Black Shark is taking shape.

TRANSFER

It took the power of two tugs to haul the hull from the Kiel facility on the shores of the Baltic Sea, setting off at 10am in the direction of Rendsburg. Black Shark’s hull passed through locks before entering the Kiel Canal where it spent three hours travelling at the maximum speed of 8 knots. It completed the landmark journey on the River Eider, arriving at the state-of-the-art facility in Rendsburg at 1:30pm. We are excited to see Black Shark entering the next phase of the build process, interior and exterior outfitting, which will commence at our facility in Rendsburg.
